Mölnlycke Exufiber Ag+ 4.5×30 cm

Exufiber® Ag+ is an antimicrobial gelling fibre dressing with silver, designed for advanced fluid management in medium to highly exuding and cavity wounds. Made from highly absorbent and gel-forming polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) fibres coated with silver sulphate, it absorbs and locks in wound exudate while maintaining a moist wound environment.

In contact with liquid, Exufiber® Ag+ releases silver ions and helps inactivate a variety of wound-related pathogens, including bacteria, fungi, and moulds. By reducing the number of microorganisms, it can help prevent and reduce the formation of bacterial biofilm.

The dressing efficiently transfers exudate away from the wound bed to the secondary dressing, locking it in to reduce the risk of pooling, leakage, and maceration. Its structural integrity supports removal in one piece and promotes autolytic debridement to support a clean wound bed.
